We are always looking for new volunteers to help with many museum tasks as listed below. Our volunteers are truly appreciated and are the gears that turn NLCHM.
- Greet visitors and help in our gift shop
- Help the Director with collections
- Scanning and photographing artifacts for our digital archives
- File documents and help with mailings
- Help keep the museum clean for visitors
- Many more special projects!
Student Volunteering
High school students are welcome to volunteer. College students are welcome to apply for an internship. This is a great opportunity to learn some history and gain experience in the museum field.
